We prefer to hire existing photographers who work in other niches like weddings, portraits, landscapes, product photography, video or sports photography.

However, even if you’ve never held a professional camera before, the right interest and attitude can also make you a great fit for us!

You’ll earn great compensation with Home Story Visuals and your pay will grow with experience and the types of imagery you can create.

Our average photographer earns between $50-$75 per hour depending on the job details, location and services provided.

We know that you are busy. Perhaps you are trying to earn extra income around your existing photography shoots, your kids school calendar or other job.

Just tell us when you can pick up a shoot for us and what areas you want to serve and we will do the rest to fill your calendar with income earning photo shoots!

Our photographers must be 18 years old, eligible to work in the US, have a drivers license, reliable transportation and have access to a computer to upload imagery.

Additionally, our photographers must be detailed oriented, friendly, and focused on creating a superb experience for our realtor clients.

Most of our photographers prefer to use their own camera with a wide angle lens suited for real estate photography.

For crop sensor cameras, this would include most 10mm lenses. For full frame sensors, a 15-16mm lens works best.

To avoid having to change lenses to capture detail shots, most real estate photographers prefer a zoom lens like a 16-35mm F4 or F2.8.

Real estate imagery uses other cameras to create the media used to market houses. We will train and equip you to capture aerial images and video, 3d tours, floor plans and provide you with the gear required to do this.
